Editorial Policy

AZ Green Magazine explains green technology, renewable energy, electric and hydrogen vehicles, and environmental issues in plain language. This page describes how we research, write, and maintain our content so you know what to expect from every article.

Our Principles

  • Answer the question first. Each article starts with a direct answer, then explains the details.
  • Facts over hype. We describe both the benefits and the limitations of every technology.
  • Practical value. We focus on what information means for you as a homeowner, driver, student, or curious reader.
  • Plain language. We explain technical terms when we first use them.

How We Research

We build articles on primary and authoritative sources, including:

  • U.S. government agencies and data, such as the Department of Energy, the Energy Information Administration, the Environmental Protection Agency, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the Alternative Fuels Data Center, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics;
  • international organizations, such as the International Energy Agency, IRENA, the UN Environment Programme, the OECD, and the World Bank;
  • peer-reviewed research and official manufacturer documentation.

We use other publications only when a primary source is not available, and we do not use forums or other aggregator sites as sources of facts.

How We Check Facts

  • Every statistic, price, and specification in an article is linked to its source, so you can verify it.
  • Figures are dated (“as of 2026”, “in 2025, according to…”) because energy data changes quickly.
  • If we cannot confirm a claim with a reliable source, we leave it out.
  • Forecasts are attributed to the organization that made them, together with the year they refer to.

Product Recommendations

When we compare products, we include only real products that are available at the time of writing. We compare manufacturer specifications, verified customer reviews, and independent tests or reviews where available, and we never claim to have personally tried products we have not tried. We avoid quoting exact prices, which change daily. Some product links are affiliate links; read our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

Independence

Our content is not paid for by companies, advertisers, or affiliate partners, and they do not review articles before publication. We do not sell links or publish sponsored posts disguised as editorial content. Ads on the site are served by Google AdSense and are kept separate from our articles.

Updates

Energy prices, incentives, and technologies change. We regularly review older articles, update them with current data, and remove information that is no longer accurate. When an article is substantially rewritten, its publication date is updated; smaller fixes are reflected in the “Last modified” date.

Corrections

We work hard to get things right, but mistakes can happen. If you find an error, email info@azgreenmagazine.com with the article link and, if possible, a source for the correct information. We review every report, correct confirmed errors promptly, and note significant corrections in the article.
