Not Just A Few Stolen Moments of Peace & Tranquility
This spring I’ve been focused on transforming my health by taking control of it, instead of just sitting back and it control me. Tea has become a surprisingly strong aspect of both my physical and mental control. I’ve even given up my daily pot (or two) of coffee to find a more holistic comfort in a pot of tea.
I’m not talking a dainty cup of Earl Grey in the morning, or a box of Lipton tea bags. It’s more to the tune of an overflowing cupboard full of a dozen different loose-leaf teas, a hundred-dollar cast iron teapot, and a kitchen drawer full of everything possible to infuse tea. Getting hooked on it happened completely by accident.
I was sick a lot this winter – down with pneumonia and a string of colds and infections from early November through early March – longer than I’ve ever been sick in one stretch before.
